Die effektive Beteiligung von Frauen an der ländlichen Wirtschaft reicht trotz der zahlreichen Fortschritte, die in den offiziellen Statistiken zur Landwirtschaft ausgewiesen werden, noch nicht aus, um sie als wichtige Akteure der nationalen, regionalen und lokalen Wirtschaftsentwicklung anzuerkennen. Diese Studie versucht, anhand einer Vor-Ort-Untersuchung die Bedeutung der Arbeitskraft von Frauen im Bereich der ländlichen Mikroökonomie aufzuzeigen. Es gibt deutliche Anzeichen für eine mangelnde Anerkennung und Unterbewertung dieser Arbeitskraft in Ceará, Brasilien und weltweit. Es wird empfohlen, gezielte Maßnahmen in Bezug auf Frauen sowie die operative Logistikstruktur zu priorisieren, um die von ihnen geleistete Arbeit zu optimieren und zu qualifizieren. Daher ist es notwendig, die Forschung zu intensivieren, um die Realität der Frauen im ländlichen Raum aufzuzeigen und die zahlreichen Kämpfe und Bewegungen für die Aufwertung der Frau und damit verbundene Verbesserungen für die familiäre Landwirtschaft hervorzuheben.
