Das Leben des dritten Geschlechts oder der Transgender ist jedoch ein großes Thema in vielen Ländern. Es ist offensichtlich, dass es insbesondere in östlichen Ländern, vor allem in Indien (Transgender-Stereotypen in der tamilischen Kultur), einen großen Mangel an Unterstützung und Vereinigungen für Transgender gibt.
