Ziel dieses Buches war es, die Bedeutung der theologisch-philosophischen christlichen Ethik für die Ausübung des Berufs des Buchhalters bei der Generierung und Produktion von Informationen anhand von Daten im Zusammenhang mit der Buchhaltung sowie ihre Bedeutung für die Gesellschaft, insbesondere in Wirtschaft und Politik, aufzuzeigen. Das Konzept der theologisch-philosophischen Reflexion über die Ethik als eine Wissenschaft der Moral wurde beschrieben, wobei die Handlungen des professionellen Buchhalters sowie ethische Fragen bei der Ausübung des Berufs und der individuellen Ethik einbezogen wurden. Es wurde nachgewiesen, dass es für den Wirtschaftsprüfer notwendig ist, seine Funktion auf ethische Weise auszuüben, ohne dass dies den Verlust seiner autonomen Fähigkeit bedeutet, über konkrete und spezifische Probleme nachzudenken.
