Celem niniejszego badania było zdiagnozowanie dostępności i integracji osób niepełnosprawnych fizycznie w kabaretach w mieście São José do Rio Preto. Postawiono hipotezę, że miejsca te, pomimo posiadania licencji na prowadzenie działalności, nie mają dostosowań umożliwiających włączenie tych osób. Jest to bardzo istotny problem, ponieważ ze względu na uprzedzenia społeczne związane z niepełnosprawnością, w wielu przypadkach płatny seks jest ważną manifestacją seksualną. Inną hipotezą jest to, że call girls nie chcą lub nie są przygotowane do obsługi osób niepełnosprawnych fizycznie, co stwarza sytuację wykluczenia. Trzecią hipotezą jest to, że niepełnosprawni użytkownicy w niewielkim stopniu korzystają z tych usług ze względu na wspomniane powyżej trudności i nie korzystają z tego rodzaju spędzania wolnego czasu. Aby uzyskać wyniki, w kabaretach zastosowano listę kontrolną, a także przeprowadzono wywiad jakościowy z dziewczynami na telefon i z mężczyznami niepełnosprawnymi fizycznie. Wyniki zostały przeanalizowane jakościowo i przedstawione w tabelach i na wykresach.
