Honeycomb is sweet to the taste, satisfying, and it also brings nourishment to God’s creatures. The Word of God does both for us, and if it is shared via a poem or song lyric, it can have a strong effect. The psalmist David expressed his deep love for God through his many songs we read in the Bible. So, whether the message of God’s great love for us is related through His written Word, the lyrics of a song or hymn, or the beauty of a poem, the goal is the same—to share the love of the heavenly Father that has touched our hearts. My prayer is that as you read the poems and lyrics within this book, you will feel His loving touch in your heart and on your life.
