Stan’s past life catches up on him when his new wife is suddenly dragged into a mysterious portal that materialises within their cottage. Stan is forced to seek help from a local spiritualist medium. A plan of action is soon plotted and an unlikely team of rescuers are formed. The team encounter major problems when they find that maybe they have bitten off more than they had imagined. The time warp from the 20th century takes the team back to a portrayal of the 17th century where a village full of humanoids that have been resurrected from the dead, are under the influential control of ghastly sadistical, sub-terrainian creatures. The two separate but intermingling adventures of the rescue team and Stan’s wife Charlie, see many twists and turns as to who will win over at the end.
