A chance meeting with an old friend leads Dutch Van Patten, who owns a bar in Key West, to investigate the murder of his friend’s wife years earlier. A gold doubloon, worn as a pendent by the wife of a mysterious Cuban billionaire, is the only clue. After his friend is arrested for torching a fishing boat, local authorities suspect Dutch is involved. He breaks his friend out of jail and they are chased by bad guys and the authorities.
