Aspire is a simple horse living a simple life in the town of Mundane. However, that life is not enough for him as he dreams of being a unicorn living in the nearby Ever After Mountains. He soon discovers that if he starts a trip on the Adventure Trails outside his town, it will eventually lead him to Destiny Falls, where he read that dreams come true. Though his family doubts he can reach it, he makes his decision. His deep desire for the actualization of his dream puts him on the journey without question. But little did he know how drastically his life would change by taking the first few steps away from home into the unknown. Along the way, Aspire becomes friends with the Stars, who provide counsel. His passion for his dream also ignites in a new friend, Confident, an independent fox, who joins him on the journey to see his desire to become king of a tribe fulfilled. But can the Stars and Confident provide enough support to get through all the obstacles, difficulties, and setbacks like storms, rock slides, and giant mountains? Can Aspire and Confident work as a team to overcome troubles from unsavory characters like snakes, gnats, tarantulas? More importantly, does Aspire have enough passion, stamina, and patience to pull through the apparent impossibilities to get to Destiny Falls? These questions grapple for answers until Aspire runs into a new character who gives him a fresh perspective.
