Faith Filled Scripture Based Words of Exhortationand Exaltation That will Change Your Lifeand Shape Your DestinyHave you ever thought about the plight of the acorn? An acorn is a seed just a few inches long and is the fruit of Oak trees. Although small, this little seedling is packed with potential and power. Only the bottom part of the acorn’s insides contain the root and stem; the rest is full of nutrients with a purpose to sustain itself. This little seedling is Destined to be Great! The White Oak can grow up to 100 feet tall and more than 4 feet in width! Because the acorn is so rich in nutrients, it must face challenges to survive, grow and fulfill its destiny! As believers, we, like the acorn, are packed with power and potential. God has equipped us with all that we need to grow strong and mighty like the Oak. Destined for Greatness is a compilation of scripture based poetic exhortations, Angel creatively displays how the outpouring anointed word of God can build faith, prompt action, reveal truth, inspire repentance, restore hope and reignite hunger and passion for a fruit filled and fulfilled life in Christ. Angel Davis consistently challenges herself by setting high goals and striving to accomplish them. Her greatest accomplishment is her role as wife and mother. She loves spending time with her family, husband, Le’Monde and children Michaela and Stephan. Angel enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling. She is motivated by encouraging others and helping them to discover their destiny. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from D’Youville College and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College, Buffalo, NY.

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....

In his interpretation of Antigone, Seamus Heaney says, ‘Nobody can be sure they are always right.’ Maureen O’Shaughnessy’s The Truth about A further attends to this idea through various readings of the myth as portrayed by Sophocles, Brecht, Ted Hughes, Anne Carson and, most particularly, Euripides.
