Desiderium: noun, an ardent desire or longing especially: a feeling of loss or grief for something lost. Samantha E. Castro has previously published Wise by Nature (2023) and Cathartic (2025). She is a nineteen year old poet, editor, and educator from Long Island, New York. Dr. Nelson W. Castro is a Chiropractor, musician, and writer. He is born and raised on Long Island, New York. Currently, he is an advocate for Parkinson’s Disease research after being diagnosed in 2021. All proceeds of this book will go to Parkinson’s Research.
