Este estudo monográfico é dedicado ao estudo dos desafios e perspectivas das actividades económicas das mulheres empresárias na Geórgia. Os resultados do estudo são apresentados em três capítulos (com 8 subcapítulos). No primeiro capítulo são discutidos os aspectos teóricos e metodológicos do orçamento participativo, nomeadamente: modelos de orçamento participativo e suas caraterísticas comparativas; experiência internacional de implementação do orçamento participativo. No segundo capítulo são analisadas questões importantes relacionadas com a prática da implementação do orçamento participativo na Geórgia, tais como: projeto municipal de orçamento participativo 'Orçamento Cívico'; projeto municipal de orçamento participativo VOLIS; possibilidades e formas de desenvolver modelos de orçamento participativo implementados na Geórgia. No terceiro capítulo foram identificadas questões organizacionais e metodológicas para a implementação do Orçamento Participativo na Geórgia, nomeadamente: especificidades da implementação do Orçamento Participativo, princípios e requisitos operacionais; modelos de Orçamento Participativo propostos e respetivo processo de seleção; actores-chave e procedimentos de trabalho do modelo de Orçamento Participativo.
