Die interdisziplinäre Studie von Frank Schulz-Nieswandt, die in das GALINDA-Projekt des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz eingebunden ist, analysiert die Trends im Wandel der Pflegebranche als Marktgeschehen, die die Pflege in das „Spinnennetz der kapitalistischen Transformation' treibt. Hintergrund dieser Trendhypothese ist u. a. die wachsende Bedeutung transnationaler Kapital-Anleger-Modelle. Es fehlt eine sozialraumorientierte Steuerung der Versorgungslandschaften auf kommunaler Ebene und eine Wohnformendifferenzierung. Diese sollte in einer wohnortunabhängigen Finanzierung der personenzentrierten Bemessung der Care-Leistungskomplexe münden. Der Pflegemarkt muss sich in authentische soziale Innovationen im Sinne der Inklusion einbinden lassen.
