Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Literaturwissenschaft - Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft, Note: 2,7, Universität Konstanz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der Mensch zwischen Natur und Kultur. Eine Konstellation, deren Raum und Zeiten übergreifende Ausprägung bereits seit Jahrtausenden beobachtet und diskutiert wird. Ein Faszinosum, dessen Fortschritt genauestens betrachtet und zur Folie gewisser Entwicklungen modelliert werden kann. Ein solches Modell bietet, im Hinblick auf jene literarischen Aufarbeitungen der Thematik, Jules Vernes Roman aus dem Jahre 1874/75 L’Île mystérieuse (Die geheimnisvolle Insel, deutsche Übersetzung 1875/76). Im Folgenden soll nun nicht allein, auf der Basis eines theoretischen Fundaments, der robinsonale Charakter des Romans erörtert und diskutiert werden. Ein weiterer Teil der vorliegenden Arbeit wird sich dezidiert mit dem Thema eines Natur-Kultur-Verhältnisses auseinandersetzen und versuchen anhand der Literatur aufzuarbeiten welche Ausprägungen, Merkmale und Entwicklungen für ein solches Verhältnis, ob nun innerhalb der Romane Vernes oder den realen Zeiten, charakteristisch sind.
