Die Frage, die eine solche Arbeit zu beantworten versucht, lautet nicht mehr ausschließlich „wo befindet sich was'. Diese Fragestellung wäre explizit raumgeographisch. In der Perzeptionsgeographie spielen politische Gesichtspunkte eine gewichtige Rolle. Deshalb wird in diesem Bereich nach der Entstehung von Raumentscheidungen gefragt; also danach, was sich vor der eigentlichen Inanspruchnahme von einem bestimmten Raum abgespielt hat. Es wird der Versuch einer Rekonstruktion von Raumentscheidungen unternommen. Und genau auf diesem Feld versucht die Arbeit zum Moscheekonflikt in Wächtersbach einen Beitrag zu leisten.
