Diese Monografie präsentiert die Forschungsergebnisse zum Professionalisierungsprozess des Managements in der heutigen serbischen Gesellschaft. In der Monografie wird das am besten geeignete Modell für die Untersuchung des Managementberufs vorgestellt. Im Rahmen der Forschung wurden die Elemente des Managementberufs identifiziert, die in der serbischen Gesellschaft sowohl entwickelt als auch unterentwickelt sind. Die Untersuchung wurde in der serbischen Provinz Vojvodina durchgeführt, und die Stichprobe umfasste 294 Manager in 30 Unternehmen/Institutionen und 510 Managementstudenten. Alle Ergebnisse der empirischen Untersuchung bestätigen die allgemeine Hypothese, dass sich der Managementberuf in der heutigen serbischen Gesellschaft noch in der Entstehungsphase befindet und dass alle konstitutiven Merkmale dieses Berufs noch nicht entwickelt sind. Die Ergebnisse zeigen auch die Bereiche der Professionalisierung des Managementberufs in unserem Land auf.
