Diese Arbeit bietet einen Überblick über didaktische Überlegungen zur Einführung des Konzepts des elektrischen Feldes in den Physikunterricht der Sekundarstufe I, wobei eine auf einem kostengünstigen Experiment basierende Lehrmethodik verwendet wird. Wir analysieren die besondere Verwendung des Experiments, das als elektrostatischer Vektor bezeichnet wird, und seinen Einsatz bei der Vermittlung der Idee der Kraftlinien, die von Faraday im 19. Wir analysieren, wie sich dieser Ansatz von dem unterscheidet, der normalerweise in Lehrbüchern dargestellt wird. Wir argumentieren, dass nicht die Verwendung von kostengünstigen Experimenten zum Lernen führt, sondern die Arbeit des Lehrers, der für die Interaktion zwischen dem Thema und dem elektrostatischen Vektor sorgt. Sowohl der Lehrer als auch das Experiment spielen im Unterricht eine wichtige Rolle.
