Defining America is different. It’s not meant to persuade you to believe what the author believes, so there are no answers here, only questions. Defining America challenges every American to define just what America is all about, regardless of what we see on television or read on social media. It’s also an opportunity because the reader has a chance to start from scratch and decide what he or she wants for our country, from choosing leaders to determining how decisions are made by the government. What rights and responsibilities does each citizen have? What should our role be in the world? How do we settle disputes and disagreements among us? Defining America is your chance to determine our path forward.
