When drug addiction hits, it can become devasting to family members of the addict. Deep Dark Forest of Life is a true account of the author’s life over the past decade of dealing with an adult drug addict child. It is a gritty, painful story of the nightmare he and his wife encountered as they were drawn in by their child’s addiction and all the horrors it brought with it. The writing of the book was inspired by God as to help those who might encounter the same journey. It tells of faith and trust in God, and how when called upon, He responds to those in need. Deep Dark Forest of Life will ultimately lead the reader down the path of putting their life and those around them to trust and rely on God and receive His peace. As the author states, "I am following Jesus and without Him I couldn’t function". Dean Rothstein holds a Master Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has counseled and worked with many addicts and their families as well as starting a recovery ministry.
