Dear God, It’s Me... Again

You want to pray. But the words won’t come.Millions of Christians sit down to pray every day and don’t know what to say. Not because their faith is weak - but because the human soul is not a machine that produces words on demand.Protestant Daily Prayer Book offers 365 original prayers - one for each day of the year. Written from a Protestant evangelical perspective, these prayers are honest, personal, and refreshingly real. What makes this book different:Unlike traditional prayer books, this one doesn’t avoid the hard places. Alongside prayers of gratitude, worship, and trust, you will find prayers about doubt, depression, burnout, anger at God, loneliness, chronic pain, envy of others’ faith, and the nights when prayer itself feels pointless. Every theme a real believer faces - brought before God without pretense. How it works:Each day contains a single prayer. Themes are deliberately shuffled: today may be a prayer of joy, tomorrow a prayer from the depths of struggle. This mirrors the unpredictable rhythm of an honest spiritual life.No commentary. No teaching. No liturgical calendar. Just 365 prayers - and the God who receives them. This book is for you if: - You love God but sometimes can’t find the words - You’re tired of generic, cliché-filled devotionals - You want a prayer companion that doesn’t pretend everything is fine - You’re new to prayer and need a place to start - You’ve prayed for years and need something freshOpen on any day of the year. Follow the order or choose at random. Make the words your own - or simply let them carry you on the days when your own voice has gone silent.
