''I’ve never really thought of myself as an Entrepreneur. However, growing up I was filled with the drive and motivation it takes to be great. When I started my small Finance business in April of 2020, it was such an emotional roller-coaster. I had many ups and down, wins and losses; coupled with several passes and fails. I wanted to give up every other month. But in the back of my mind I could not shake the fact that I had already invested thousands of dollars into it. Newly married, a Coronavirus Pandemic, two pregnancies (back-to-back), and a full-time job; there was just so much pressure. Thankfully I pressed through. With my faith in Christ and my love for poetry-I continued to push myself to succeed. Through writing I release the frustration building inside of me. The want to ’Give Up’, just came and went. I wish to share with you the feelings and emotions of a starting a small business. While it may be tough and even scary, it is possible to pull it together and move forward. 'Dear, Entrepreneur'- is a compilation of self-written poems to help anyone who wants or is currently building a business from the ground up.''
