Dans cette recherche, nous avons analysé l’expérience collective d’environ 120 étudiants angolais qui, depuis 2004, résident et étudient dans la ville de Lins (dans l’intérieur de l’État de São Paulo). L’hypothèse de notre recherche était que les étudiants avaient élaboré une position de nature ethnique en réaction à l’attribution historique et quotidienne de la négritude (FANON 2008) aux peuples d’origine africaine dans leur expérience collective. En d’autres termes, les étudiants, pendant leur séjour au Brésil, subissent un processus de racialisation et, en réaction à ce déni, produisent, par le biais d’un processus d’ethnicisation, une position qui articule de manière intersectionnelle deux clivages sociologiques (race et ethnicité).
