After an illustrious Military career that spanned over 26 years rising from the enlisted ranks to retire as a Regular Major. Obtaining four college degrees from Vanderbilt, Claremont Graduate University, Golden Gate University, and The University of LaVerne, respectively, in the areas of Human Development and Counseling, Executive Management, Public Administration, and Economics/Business Administration. After his military career, he became the Associate Professor of the Business Department at South Eastern College of Athens (SEC) in Greece which spanned a period of two years. Partaking in the rise of enrollments from around 400 to 4000 students. In 1991, he returned to the United States to enroll his daughter in college where he took employment with the State of Maryland as a Disable Veteran Outplacement counselor. It was here that he penned his 1st poem © 1995 'Spirit Eagle' with many more to follow. In 2022, his 2nd publication of Volume I of 'Days Gone By'- A Collection of Spiritual, Emotional, and Social Poems - was published by Dorrance Publications. While volume II of 'Days Gone By' - 'Wait Until The Sun Comes Up'- was published in 2023 by CITIOFBOOKS. While volume III of 'Days Gone By' -'A Journey, In Search of the Spirituals'- will be published by CITIOFBOOKS in 2024 as well. Within Volume III, there will be a selection of his poems from Volume I & II that addressed these times and are spiritual in nature to share with the readers. As well, as others that were penned for volume III.
