Zwei Ansätze, die sich mit dem Thema der Cross-Polaren-Anomalie beschäftigen, sind die Ansätze von Bierwisch (1987) und Kennedy (1999). Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist eine Darstellung des Umgangs mit Cross-Polaren Anomalien in beiden Ansätzen sowie eine Gegenüberstellung.Dazu werden zunächst die relevanten grundlegenden Begriffe Dimensionsadjektiv, Bewertungsadjektiv und Cross-Polare Anomalie eingeführt. Daran anschließend wird das Phänomen der Cross-Polaren Anomalie aus dem Blickwinkel der differierenden Ansätze beschrieben. Abschließend werden die Ergebnisse beider Ansätze in kompakter Weise gegenübergestellt und kurz diskutiert.
