Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,0, Freie Universität Berlin, Veranstaltung: Novelle des Realismus, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel dieser Hausarbeit ist die Darstellung der Novelle Brigitta von Stifter und die Untersuchung dieses Werkes unter dem ästhetischen und pädagogischen Aspekt. Eine einleitende Annäherung zu der Novelle Brigitta bildet die kurze Darstellung der theoretischen Vielfalt der Novelle als literarische Gattung. Im Hauptteil dieser Arbeit wird die Novelle Brigitta auf inhaltlicher Ebene untersucht, und zwar auf der Ebene der gegenübergestellten Begriffen der Zivilisation und Wildnis (Kapitel 2.1), Schönheit und Hässlichkeit (Kapitel 2.2) oder Trennung und Versöhnung (Kapitel 2.3), die alle samt diesem Werk das Besondere verleihen und durch die das ästhetische Programm ausgeführt wird. Warum Stifter seine Novelle als Gegenüberstellungen konstruiert und welche Bedeutung sie auf die Perzeption des Textes haben, wird in der Zusammenfassung beschrieben.
