With the clock ticking louder as she approaches her 40th birthday, Casey can feel the pressures of life folding in on her like quicksand. She made a deal with God when she was six years old, and their deal’s timeline was ending. She spent most of her life researching and studying people, hoping to find what she thought she was missing in a world she struggled to understand. She later realized that the only thing she was genuinely missing was herself. After years of trauma, especially in her childhood, she felt like she didn’t fully understand who she was. She became a psychotherapist with a passion for wanting to understand how trauma affects people and how the experiences she had may be causing her to feel inhibited in many areas of life, primarily in being able to express herself authentically. Casey has spent years staying silent and observing the world around her. She felt buried in her trauma and terrified to show others a piece of herself that she had kept hidden for years. Without all the pieces coming together in a way that makes sense, it isn’t easy to feel like authentically expressing ourselves is possible. Imposter syndrome takes over, and in the shadows, we stay because somehow that continues to feel safer, although it becomes lonelier and suffocating the longer we are there. Feeling lonely and not being able to breathe caused her to struggle for years with C-PTSD symptoms along with autoimmune disease symptoms that, at times, nearly felt like they would take her out. The destruction from the trauma left the pieces of what makes her who she is scattered. Will she find all the pieces in time before she loses everything that ever mattered to her? Casey believes that healing occurs within relationships, and when her relationship with her children began to feel more tense and fragile, she decided it was time to make some big moves. Little did she know that leaning fully into her children and feeling their pain would help her access some of her most profound childhood injuries, ultimately leading her down a path to self-recovery. What she discovered along the way, exploring her shadows, will leave you wondering what stories your shadows might reveal. What pieces of you might be left in the dark, waiting to be seen and acknowledged? How well can you identify what you are feeling and describe it in a way that accurately defines your experience so that you feel validated in your self-expression, further leading to a stronger sense of self? You’ve most likely heard of a rebirth. What exactly does that mean, and how does one achieve such a goal? Casey shares her journey that helped repair the wounds that seemed to keep her in a world that felt inside out. A world where the limitations were imposed on her by those around her. Once she had freedom, she lost her sense of direction and could no longer connect with her intuition. It was as if the light inside had burnt out. Just when she felt as if her time on this planet had been wasted, she realized that true wealth came from within, and it was up to her to dig herself out and give herself a shot at a new life. Join Casey as she journeys through her life experiences, inviting you to pull your experiences into the narrative to help you make more sense of yourself in exciting ways. Learn the connections made as she processes traumatic events in her life, unleashing her abilities as a psychic medium and therapist, allowing herself to integrate what is shown and needed while releasing the rest. Will she succeed? Will you? I dare you to try.
