All which convinces Jill to pull Rick into her own set of dire complications. To maintain his deceit and retain Jill’s wavering interest, Rick concocts a series of international capers for Jill and their friends, plunging them into additional trouble and shenanigans. But her own problems twist them in new directions. Jill must find a vast hidden fortune, her secret inheritance. Can she trust Rick, the awkward liar, to help? She must decipher her deceased grandfather’s cryptic instructions, intertwined with his search for the lost tomb, or her vast inheritance will be lost forever. This fictional tale has an air of authenticity as it is based on a memoir from the seasoned writer, having lived in Turkey in those turbulent times.   Danger 9b and his Goddess of Fortune is an historic fiction mystery combined with a light romantic comedy and mixed with action/adventure drama, weaving history, culture and coming-of-age teen antics into a wild tale of intrigue and discovery.
