Green banking is a relatively new concept in the banking sector, but it is gaining importance rapidly. Green banking refers to the adoption of environmentally friendly practices by banks in their operations and services. It is a way of banking that aims to minimize the environmental impact of the banking sector and promote sustainable development. Customer awareness of green banking services is essential for the success of green banking initiatives. Customers who are aware of green banking services are more likely to choose and use them. This can lead to a number of benefits, including reduced environmental impact, increased customer satisfaction, and improved brand image for banks. Andhra Pradesh is one of the leading states in India in terms of green banking initiatives. The state government has taken a number of steps to promote green banking, such as mandating the use of energy-efficient appliances in bank branches and providing incentives to banks that adopt green practices. Despite the growing awareness and initiatives, there is still a need for more research on customer awareness of green banking services in Andhra Pradesh.
