Devlyn Sylvara was settling into his new role as King when reports of missing fairies started piling up, his mentor, Chancellor Fable, among them. He vowed to find and return her to Greythorn, along with their missing friends, even if it meant working alongside a mage. The last mage left him with a broken spirit, after all. High Mage Kyron struggled with the mess his predecessor left behind when an odd alert from his wards informed him of his best friend Valli’s disappearance. He owed her a life debt and was determined to repay it, with or without royal permission. Now he traveled with Skye, Fox, and the one fairy determined to ignore his existence, King Devlyn. The quest for the missing fairies leads them to Amnestria, the elven realm, where they discover their friends caught in the nightmare’s web of the one calling himself the Walker of Dreams. There, the wayward fairies meet a group of Shadowbreak Arrah, elven spider-riders, and together they must puzzle out the mystery of the Cursed Fairies. Can fairies and elves work through their differences and free their friends, or will the King and High Mage of Greythorn become the Walker of Dream’s next victims?
