Lo que descubría iba más lejos que él.Al respecto, su teoría de la sexualidad perversa polimorfa y parcial, bien puede leerse como el germen de la idea de diversidad sexual, con sus variadas formas de género y orientación, a diferencia de la estrechez de miras biologista, limitada al fin genital heterosexual y reproductivo. 4
