Doctor en Derecho y Ciencias Políticas por la Universidad Nacional de Colombia y doctor en Historia Económica por La Sorbona (París, Francia). Dramaturgo, actor de teatro, ensayista, articulista y cuentista. Premio Nacional de Arte 'Pablo Zelaya Sierra'.
