Certains philosophes postérieurs à Platon ont soutenu que la théorie des formes de Platon comportait de nombreuses erreurs. En raison de ces prétendues erreurs, Platon aurait commis des erreurs qui auraient mis en péril son œuvre. Cependant, nous nous efforcerons d’examiner les différents aspects du Monde des formes de Platon qui ont suscité plus de questions que de réponses, afin d’analyser clairement l’essence de sa philosophie. Le but de ce livre est d’exposer les doctrines métaphysiques de Platon sur le monde des formes. Pour atteindre cet objectif, ce travail sera réalisé à plusieurs niveaux. Au premier niveau, j’examinerai les diverses influences des philosophes précédents sur Platon. Ce niveau incarnera également la position de Platon en tant qu’affirmation ou non de celles de ses prédécesseurs.
