Dr. Charlee Sullivan, a medical researcher at Columbia University, maintains a reserved lifestyle until financial pressures mount leading to her involvement in international espionage during the 1970s. At the same time, a covert operation, led by government operatives, seek to make sure the real purpose for the virus is never discovered.Knowing her life is in jeopardy, Sullivan flees, navigating the New England landscape from Nantucket Island to the rocky coast of Maine, hoping for the return to a simpler time.
