O encontro entre as crenças tradicionais da região Sara-Kaba de África e o cristianismo sempre deu origem a um debate considerável. O leitor deste livro ficará surpreendido com a novidade da interrogação. O primeiro ponto leva-nos a levantar a questão do sara kaba (homem negro), rompendo com a visão colonial racista de que as crenças religiosas do sara -kaba (povo negro) são 'primitivas'. O segundo ponto leva-nos a considerar a possibilidade de uma cristologia puramente sara-kaba (africana). Isto leva-nos a colocar a seguinte questão: é possível ser um bom cristão permanecendo sara-kaba (africano)? Como resposta, propomos uma possibilidade: a INCULTURAÇÃO, tal como a lemos, 'é entendida como um processo global de incarnação do Evangelho, da Fé em Cristo em todas as culturas, em todas as crenças religiosas não cristãs, com o objetivo de as purificar à luz da verdade bíblica'.
