Steve Daly wasn't born to kill. It just worked out that way. But after a career as an elite soldier in the military as a member of a squad that didn't officially exist, he wanted to do something a little different. But what could a man with no training or skills beyond the art of war do in the real world? How could such a man hope to make a fresh start? A fluke of fate and $70 million might do the trick. Join Steve as he uses his newfound riches to discover what is really important in life: connecting with other people, changing lives, and making a real difference in a community desperate for a little hope. As it turns out, Steve really wasn't born to kill. He was born to love, and the family he builds helps him learn and grow and become the person he hoped he always would be. About the Author Len Brass is a teacher, a lifelong member of and leader within Rotary International, and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He has been through much in his life, from watching his wife fight and succumb to cancer over two decades ago to witnessing the struggles of young people in all walks of life all around the globe as they learn and grow in a world that too often overlooks them. But through it all, he has maintained a charitable spirit a desire to help others. He is thankful for his blessed life, and hopes that he can share that feeling with others through his writing.

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
