Cette étude explore l’impact de la couverture du risque de change sur la gestion des risques de change parmi cinq entreprises exportatrices de thé au Rwanda. En utilisant une conception descriptive et corrélationnelle, les données ont été collectées au moyen de questionnaires et d’entretiens avec 50 répondants. Les résultats ont révélé que les opérations de couverture, la conversion et les expositions opérationnelles influencent de manière significative le contrôle du risque de change, expliquant 97,8 % de la variation. L’étude recommande d’évaluer les flux de trésorerie issus des techniques de couverture, de promouvoir la diversification et d’éviter les prévisions de bénéfices inexactes afin d’améliorer la gestion des risques. Des recherches plus approfondies sur les facteurs entravant une gestion efficace du risque de change sont suggérées.
