Country Girl is a telling of my journey through my childhood years in an isolated northern farming community in Manitoba, Canada, all the way through to my quiet and peaceful senior years. Life was so simple and innocent as a small child, sheltered from the harshness of the world. I am extremely naive as I enter the world of adulthood. I tell how Al-Anon saved my daughter’s and my life, how Al-Anon gave me courage and strength to seek happiness and fulfillment.I give praise to all my friends and family as they stood by me throughout all of my challenges and triumphs. I share with you my secrets to acquiring a happy and successful life, regardless of the health issues I still experience.
