Cosmic Garden is a collection of poems, letters, and entries written by Aleksandra Mazur while she worked on a painting inspired by love, loss, and everything in between. The painting is the cover of the book, the faceless, nameless, weightless facade of vulnerability. It is a struggle to breathe after being buried alive in the soil of an unrequited love. The fight to break to the surface when challenged by a demanding love. Finally, it is the shock as you break the surface and feel the wind, the sun, the world no longer something that confined you, but something that nourished you until you were strong enough to stand in it, formidable, unshakeable, strong roots unwilling to let you falter.A journey of growth. Uncomfortable. Surreal. Harrowing. Withstanding. Real.
