Le Jardin Botanique Zoologique de Gbadolite pratique la conservation ex-situ sur une concession de 300 hectares relativement visible suite aux activités quotidiennes qui attirent progressivement les visiteurs, une moyenne de quatre personnes par mois surtout de la couche estudiantine de tous les degrés primaire, secondaire et cycles supérieurs. Les contraintes de gestion sont considérables et nécessitent l’appui des Partenaires techniques et financiers dans les activités de:• Pépinière botanique de multiplication,• Plantation et entretien des collections botaniques,• Prise en charge des pensionnaires animaux en semi-liberté,• Elevage des espèces domestiques exotiques et sauvages,• Production d’énergie renouvelable,• Construction des infrastructures de conservation, d’accueil et de sécurité,• Approvisionnement en matériaux, matériels et produits divers. Brièvement, le Jardin botanique et zoologique transpire des contraintes dont les résolutions sont des projets à échéances diverses; d’impact rapide, allant de court terme à long terme.
