Es verdad que la violencia afecta tanto a mujeres como a hombres en algún momento de su vida, cuyo impacto varía según diversas causas y factores, directamente influyendo en la construcción de las relaciones que los adolescentes establecen en su entorno. Los últimos estudios denotan que la adolescencia aún mantiene un concepto poco claro de la violencia de género, es así que la presente investigación reflexiona sobre esta problemática, con el objetivo de llegar a describir la concepción psicosocial de la violencia de género que presentan los estudiantes de 9no año de EGB de la Unidad Educativa 'Los Cañarís 'de Azogues, en este caso desde lo descrito por una muestra focal.
