It is a book that deals extensively, though not exhaustively on issues bordering on widowhood.The author examines the lives of widows in the Bible as well as in contemporary times, their predicaments and experiences; both good and bad. It discusses the stigmatization of widows as well as the various means of alleviating their plights. Most importantly, it reaffirms the author’s faith and hope in God’s faithfulness as the only true Husband of the widow indeed.It is a compelling narrative that every reader would find interesting and glean a number of insights from.
