A agricultura de precisão é um sistema integrado de gestão agrícola que incorpora várias tecnologias. Esta tecnologia pode reduzir o custo de produção das culturas e o risco de poluição ambiental. O projeto de I&D AgroDat, com notáveis parceiros industriais e científicos, visa construir um sistema de informação agrícola na Hungria, financiado pelo Estado húngaro (VKSZ 12-1-2013-0024). O sistema baseia-se na recolha e análise de grandes volumes de dados sobre as culturas e as condições ambientais, como a humidade e a temperatura do solo, a temperatura do ar, a precipitação, a radiação solar, etc. Este livro apresenta os resultados da nossa investigação no que respeita ao funcionamento a baixa potência de sensores que produzem dados escalares e de imagem simples.
