Il lavoro in questione ha cercato di conoscere i formatori dei futuri educatori YAE, considerando i loro ultimi lavori pubblicati nel campo. Per fare ciò, sono state mappate le università federali situate nello stato di Minas Gerais per identificare la presenza di materie di Educazione dei Giovani e degli Adulti (YAE) nei corsi di Pedagogia e i rispettivi insegnanti. Dopo la ricerca, si è scelto di lavorare con le produzioni degli insegnanti dell’Università Federale di Minas Gerais (UFMG), in quanto offre il corso di Pedagogia più antico tra quelli mappati. Di conseguenza, questo studio ha rilevato realtà diverse tra le esigenze della YAE in Brasile, dal punto di vista degli articoli analizzati, rispetto agli impegni che i Paesi membri della CONFINTEA devono rispettare secondo l’agenda internazionale.
