This is my first published book of poems that I am devoting this book to my mum.Carolyn jane walker who passed away on 15 jan 2013. Bulletproof diamond shield is devoted to my mum. My mum was in my eyes an incredible lady with strenght of iron and morals that always put others before herself. Connections to the hearts intentions I wanted a collection of poems that were raw and real and relate to everyone in different ways. I grow up in plymouth and have spend most of my working life in hospitality. I believe in having great principles grows greater confidence, in terms of don’t let any set back decide your fate.I feel I am always learning, always seeing new ways of living through the eyes of others. Im thankful for all those that caused me pain as I learned and became a wiser kinder man rather than bitter and twisted.I believe we all experience good as well so we need to look out for the signs life gives us.I hope in 2014 to go onto new places to in rich my mind, grow my wisdom and continue to grow as a person.Your happiness is in your hands, we all have a purpose to being. No matter how small the impact you feel you have, others may view your impact on them as a much greater connection shared.Everyone can find the CONNECTIONS TO YOUR HEARTS INTENTIONS

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. Figures who could so easily flit like phantoms in her well honed poetry are palpably enjoying an after-life in the poet’s ability to redeem through deep understanding. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

  • One Kiss
    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
