A pesar de este cambio, las sociedades contemporáneas están marcadas por una generación de conflictos en torno a decisiones relativas a obras de ordenamiento territorial. Mediante el estudio de movilizaciones en contra de la implantación de tiraderos, incineradores y plantas de compostaje en tres contextos nacionales (México, Italia y Francia), este libro analiza la aparente paradoja entre, por un lado, la multiplicación y sofisticación de restricciones ambientales y de mecanismos de información y participación; y, por otro, el bloqueo de decisiones públicas en la gestión de los residuos. 10
