The most important lesson for us is to trust in God and not get so wrapped up in what someone has or hasn’t done for you; even if they were your parents. It’s the author’s hope that upon reading this book, that victory will be found in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Just remember what the author said in his first book The Making of a Man; My Cross to Bear; if there is no cross, then, there will be no crown. By trusting in God, we will be able to rise from the ashes as we are rising from the ruins.
