L’osservanza di pratiche quali l’analisi bibliologica e la ricerca bibliografica di rarità, in fonti specializzate, costituisce una risorsa per la formazione e lo sviluppo di collezioni speciali. Il contributo della ricerca consiste nel promuovere la riflessione sui metodi e sulle pratiche impiegati nell’identificazione di collezioni rare, oltre a sottolineare ulteriormente il valore, la regalità e l’unicità della collezione della Fondazione Biblioteca Nazionale brasiliana.
