Carlo Boldrighini è nato a Faenza nel 1936 da genitori anconetani.Da Faenza il papà, che lavora in banca, viene trasferito, su sua richiesta, prima ad Ancona, poi a Bologna ed infine a Roma dove Carlo si laurea in architettura. Alla sua professione Carlo unisce la passione per la pittura alla quale si dedica per alcuni anni, ed infine decide di dedicarsi alla scrittura, in seguito ad alcuni fatti che hanno inciso profondamente sulla sua vita.Prima di ' Comunque Paolo' ha scritto un altro libro '...E Io Con Te', di carattere dichiaratamente autobiografico. Ad una precisa domanda ha risposto che sta svolgendo delle ricerche per iniziare un nuovo romanzo, probabilmente di carattere storico.
