Em pesquisas encontradas na área de gestão do conhecimento, foi possível verificar que a etapa de compartilhamento do conhecimento é complexa e de difícil gestão. Fatores individuais, tecnológicos, culturais e contextuais são apontados como relevantes nesse processo. Quanto às organizações de pesquisa, desenvolvimento e inovação, caracterizadas por intensa geração de conhecimento, esse fenômeno é crítico, uma vez que as oportunidades de compartilhamento oferecem grande potencial de criação, especialmente considerando-se que todo processo cognitivo é influenciado pelas relações e interações que envolvem pessoas, artefatos e demais elementos encontrados no contexto, e que o compartilhamento de conhecimentos, principalmente tácitos, é uma decisão dos atores envolvidos no processo. Tendo essas reflexões como pano de fundo, o objetivo da pesquisa foi identificar estratégias que facilitem o compartilhamento de conhecimentos entre pesquisadores de organizações de PD&I. 10
