Il examine les éléments oppressifs internes et externes contemporains de la société tribale de Chotanagpur et met en lumière les contributions libératrices des missionnaires chrétiens. Elle retrace également les éléments libérateurs dans les mythes et récits tribaux ainsi que dans les Écritures chrétiennes. Dans la dernière partie de la thèse, l’auteur propose certaines mesures concrètes pour la libération intégrale des tribus.
