Coming Home: Poetry of the Spirit serves as the introduction to a trilogy of poetry on love and the journey. It is the realisation of poet Ajit Sripad Rao Nalkur’s deepest dream to make his poetry available to the world at large. This volume offers an account of author Nalkur’s voyage back to India, his birthplace, after twenty-five years of living in the West. His time abroad included living, working, and travelling through Australia, Europe, and the United States.Coming Home, completed on his return to India in 2003, was initiated during his years in the United States. The poetry in this volume covers such topics as the sweetness of love and miracle of life eternal, along with themes of relationships and the need to be true to oneself.
